Jen's visit!

Jen came to visit us and we had such a great time!!! I miss her so much! Here are some pictures of Scott, Jen and me at Luigi's. Tyler got left out of the pics....sorry Tyler! And Brooke was at a friend's house. Anyway, we had to go to Luigi's to get a strawberry cheesecake martini......YUM. We took Scott and Tyler home and decided to head out for a big Friday night shopping extravaganza at Bed, B@th and Beyond. Tyler thought we had lost our minds. But, girls have to do what girls have to do. And all of us moms know that shopping sans kids is super-exciting!!!!!! While Jen was here we got a lot of shopping in and I had a blast enjoying some "girl time." Jen is one of the most generous, kind-hearted people you will ever meet. I am so blessed to have her as a friend. Love you, Jen!!!

Scott's Farm class visited the firestation last week. He LOVED it and has talked non-stop about firemen, firetrucks, etc.... Here are a few pictures of his adventure. :)

i promised more pics and here they are..... we did have a fabulous time vacationing. fort story and oceana naval air station were so nice! we would love to go back and vacation at fort story at some point. the beaches there are really nice and not crowded at all. we were able to watch all of the freighters coming in and out of chesapeake bay. there were also a lot of dolphins playing in the ocean. they were extra-fun to watch! the kids loved playing in the ocean and grampi even got a little fishing in....which he enjoyed. thanks, gramma and grampi for everything!!!!! :)

well, we did it! tyler, stephanie and i all ran the half-marathon. stephanie loved, loved it and wants to run another one. good for her!!!! :) for tyler and me....that was our first and last. i love my 10K runs, but anything over that is just too much. LOL! we did have a fabulous weekend and i will post more pics soon......

Scott had Grandparent's Day at his school today, so Gramma came to celebrate. Scott was able to show his classroom to Gramma and also share yummy donuts and milk with her. We all had a really nice time! After spending some time with Scott, we headed to eat lunch with Brooke. Brooke was also able to show Gramma her classroom. It was lots of fun to spend time with Gramma and the kiddos! Also, notice our toothless girl!!!! I love it when they smile with that big gap....it's so cute! :)
