Brooke and Scott are "water babies" and love, love the pool. Stephanie took her camera to the pool with us and got some cute pics of the kiddos. I thought you might like to see Brooke and Scott in action. This is where we spend most of our days......

Guess who asked Jesus to come into her heart?

That's right!!! Our sweet Brookie asked Jesus to come into her heart to day at VBS. I was so, so thrilled!!!! She had prayed with me before when she was 4 and asked Him to come into her heart, but I was not sure if she truly understood everything....not that it matters what I think.... as I know that Jesus knows His little girl's heart! :) Today, God gave me a wonderful feeling of reassurance that Brooke really does understand it. I told her that the angels were having a party in heaven to celebrate the occasion and her face lit up! She is such a tremendous blessing and I am so honored and blessed that God chose me to be her mommy. I love you Brooke and am so proud of you!!!

Happy 4th Birthday, Scott!!!

The Birthday Boy! So happy!!!
I loved the balloons in this pic...
The Cement Truck....these kids are all obsessed with them....not sure why???
Say WHAT?????
Running from the bubbles.....
Our big boy is 4! Unfortunately our camera's battery died before the festivities really began. BUT, lucky for us....our friend Stephanie, who is a photographer, had her camera and got some great pics! :) Thanks Stephanie!!! Anyway, Scott had a great day at VBS and then came home to a dinosaur birthday party. Gramma, Emma, Kole, Greysie and Brooke were right by his side and he had a wonderful time! Thanks to everyone who made his birthday so special!!!

On the beach
I was not coordinated with the rest of the group....what's up? :)

We spent a wonderful week in Myrtle Beach, SC and had such fun! I could not download all of the pics, but here are a few. The kids call Myrtle Beach "the big bucket" because there is a small water park on the premises of our hotel grounds and it has a big bucket that pours water on the kids. They love it!!! We were able to eat some fabulous seafood, see a neat show at Medieval Times and enjoy some wonderful fun in the sun. :)

Scott's Baptism

We were so excited to FINALLY have Scott baptized! :) We wanted to wait and find a church home that we really loved to baptize him and Salem was it! Scott was baptized on Mother's Day, which made it extra-special. My mom and dad were able to be here, too. He was so funny as when his name was called to approach the altar, he covered his head with his hands. He knew what was coming. Then, when the pastor gave him a washcloth to hold during the sprinkling of the water, Scott put that on top of his head. The entire congregation was laughing. It was funny! :) Leave it to Scott to add that little "something extra!" He's all boy and such a tremendous blessing. I pray that we will bring him up to know and love Jesus and that he will be a blessing to everyone that he meets. Thank you, God for our sweet boy.

we had baywood's member-guest tournament this weekend and had so much fun! tyler and brian played golf friday, saturday and sunday. the weather was super hot and not the best for golfing, but you know how guys are with golf....heat is no obstacle that cannot be overcome! friday was a practice round of 18 holes and friday night was dinner and a dance. sat followed with 27 holes of golf (in 100 degree weather) and friday evening there was the "wine and hops" event followed by a raffle. sunday came with 18 more holes of golf and then the trophy presentation. it was a super-fun packed weekend!
