we spent a great weekend at camp lejuene mcb in jacksonville, nc. it was a great time had by all! we rented a cabin by the beach and it was great!!! the kids especially loved it because there was a ladder that led to a loft and that is where the kiddos slept. they referred to it as their "secret loft." it was super-windy on friday night and tyler thinks that the only thing that kept our cabin on the groud was our body weight. LOL!!! saturday was really, really windy and cold on the beach, but once we drove into town, it was beautiful. we visited some of the sights on camp lejeune and then visited the beiruit memorial. sunday was a great day spent on the beach with sun and sand. the kids swam in the ocean....but it was too cold for me. we had a great time and hope to visit again soon.

it's that time again....

scott's new favorite pasttime

yes, it's breathing treatment season at the wilson home. scott is feeling the effects of fall rolling in and summer saying goodbye. poor thing....he's such a trooper, but he coughs and coughs. he's on treatments every 4 hours, so here's a glimpse of what we are doing around here quite often. he's so stinkin' cute! :)

as far as the rest of us, we are all doing well. i'm recovering from a cold (or maybe a little trouble with my allergies). brooke and tyler have seemed to escape allergy season this year. amazing! i did hear that aunt mere has pharyngitis and had to get a steroid shot and be put on antibiotics. a big "get well" shout out to you aunt mere! we love you and hope you are feeling better!!!

hope that everyone has a great weekend. we are off to the beach! hopefully a little salty air will help scott. we know that it will be cold this weekend, so no swimming, but we are packing lots of games and movies and hope to enjoy some of the beach and some good family time together! so with that.....see ya! :)

scott's class visited gillis hill farm and was able to pick out a pumpkin, take a hayride and even eat homemade ice cream all while learning about animals and life on the farm. it was so fun! i had a wonderful time and so enjoyed watching scott. it was a beautiful and chilly fall day....just perfect for a pumpkin patch. :)

as most of you know, tyler is in school at east carolina university earning his PhD. so, now we have a team to cheer for as a united front! :) we went to the ecu-memphis game last weekend and ecu won.....arrrgh!!!! go pirates! we had a great time despite the freezing cold and rainy weather. the kids thought it was great to bundle up under the blanket and we all loved being together and cheering for our team. each time the pirates earn another first down, the announcer says, "and that makes it a first down...." and eveyone yells "PIRATES" and then we all say, "ARRRGH!" the kids LOVE it!!!!! and then when the pirates score, a big cannon is fired and so that makes it all the more fun. :) anyway, we are enjoying football season to the fullest. tyler's team in the SEC is going really well (that would be alabama) and my team (auburn) is not having such a great year. but, i guess that makes us appreciate the really good ones, right? we have to look on the bright side!

i borrowed some pics from mere's blog because i liked them and wanted you all to see them as well. we had so much fun on the trip and i hope that we will be able to do it again at some point. i can't wait to see my family at Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

brooke had a wonderful 7th birthday! we celebrated with her on her actual birthday (oct 9th) and then had her sleepover party on the 10th. she had 5 friends over and they had a fashion show (more photos to follow soon) and then watched the hannah montana movie. whenever the theme song to that show played, the girls all belted out every song. they seemed to have a good time and also seemed to need no sleep! tyler and i were quite tired the next day. :)

we are so blessed to have such a sweet girl in our lives. she is such a joy and just radiates love. i am so humbled that God chose to give her to me and i love her so, so much. happy birthday brooke and i hope that this year is the best yet!!!

we had a wonderful time at wrightsville beach, nc. it's our favorite east coast beach by far and we plan to take many more trips to visit it! the whole williams side of the family met in wilmington for michael's 30th b'day wish. he wanted all of the guys to take a deep sea fishing trip. uncle don and reeves were even able to make the trek to join us! anyway, the guys all went fishing and the girls hung out with the children and "caught up" on all of the happenings. it was wonderful to be able to see everyone!!! we also celebrated brooke's b'day while there. i included a pic of brooke with all of her new things....a cute vest, watch, bracelet and socks and also her new hannah montana bear. she loves her some hannah!!! i loved seeing everyone. it was a wonderful, wonderful trip!!! :)
